Botox R/Vistabel R, Treatment with botulinum toxin A

Wrinkles around the nose, eyes and forehead, caused by contraction of the facial musculature, are best treated with Botox/Vistabel. The effective ingredient is a natural purified protein. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve impulses, temporarily paralysing the injected muscle and thereby smoothing the wrinkles caused by facial expressions or frowning.

We recommend a personal consultation with our physician. The two of you will decide whether treatment with Botulinum toxin is appropriate in your case and what form it might take. The physician will also indicate the kind of outcome you can expect and any side effects and risks of the treatment. This procedure is not advisable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
